1. Vahdam: Vahdam Teas is a startup that deals with packaging and shipping of fresh Indian tea to make it available worldwide. The startup has eliminated the existence of middlemen and directly ships the tea to the consumers. Recently, Vahdam Teas acquired a funding of US$650,000 from the Mumbai Angels Network, Singapore Angel Network, and Fireside Ventures. It ships Darjeeling as well as other Indian teas to around 76 countries. It has plans to utilise the acquired funding to obtain a warehouse in its biggest market, the United States.
2. SmarterHi: It is IoT security startup located in Pune. Recently, it received an undisclosed funding from a Singapore investor. The startup’s effective product assertion is efficiently being used at the bank of Singapore. The investment received shall be used in doing expansion in the hi tech market. The Assertion product are used by the enterprises in getting assistance in adopting a policy-based approach to communication systems security.
3. Tyre Express: This IoT startup is working towards helping in tracking and managing the performance of tyres. It works by enabling a fleet operator in order to increase the tyre life, enhance fuel efficiency as well as reduce accidents. Furthermore, Tyre Express is coming in collaboration with manufacturers to increase their service offerings to their exclusive institutional clients.
4. RML AgTech: This unique startup works towards assisting farmers in timely information on crops and markets through an extended network of SMS and its app. In addition, it also has an app which helps commodity traders in connecting with dispersed farmers. Recently, it acquired a funding of $4 million from IvyCap Ventures in a series B round.
