Digital health platform, Clinikally, is on the rise, having recently secured a significant $2.6 million in its latest funding round. With heavyweight investors like Y Combinator, Tribe Capital, and Goodwater Capital leading the charge, the platform’s mission to connect consumers to licensed dermatologists is gaining traction.
Arjun Soin, a Stanford alumnus and healthcare researcher, launched Clinikally in 2021, envisioning a platform where individuals can access personalized treatments for a myriad of conditions, from acne and hair loss to eczema and rosacea. With this recent funding milestone, the platform is poised to redefine patient-skin care professional interactions.
Past support for Clinikally has been robust, with the startup raising $500,000 in an earlier round. It boasts of a notable backers list, including industry giants like Jon Oringer of Shutterstock via Parento Holdings, Sumant Sinha from ReNew Power, and Gautam Trivedi of Neapean Capital, to name a few.
This funding round didn’t just stop at traditional investors. Tech leaders have shown their support, with names like Arash Ferdowsi of Dropbox, Cred’s Kunal Shah, and Qasar Younis, former COO of Y Combinator, joining the roster of backers.
Speaking on the recent influx of support, Soin shared, “Our vision to democratize dermatological care through telehealth has received a significant boost with the entry of these strategic global investors. Their faith in our mission for India underlines the potential of specialized, integrated care in the country.”
The new capital is earmarked for ambitious expansion plans. Clinikally aims to enhance its telehealth technology, collaborate offline with clinics, and offer same-day deliveries in Tier 1 cities. “We’re not just stopping at our current reach of 40% in tier 2, 3, & 4 cities. We’re looking to triple our user base and forge 250 new clinic partnerships,” shared an enthusiastic Soin.
Since its inception, Clinikally has been more than just a platform. It’s a hub where brands offer prescription-based skincare, wellness, and nutrition products. And with its track record of serving 450,000 users across 500 cities in under two years, the future seems bright for this Gurgaon-based innovation.
