In a stunning display of entrepreneurial prowess, two young Indian tech enthusiasts, Aryan Sharma and Ayush Pathak, have successfully procured a $2.3 million investment for their start-up, Induced AI, led by none other than Sam Altman of OpenAI.
On the recent Overpowered podcast, Aryan Sharma delved into their incredible journey, which began with his early penchant for coding and AI. At just 14, Sharma embarked on a strategy of cold outreach, sending emails to leading names in the tech world, seeking mentorship. Though some advised him to desist, his persistence eventually bore fruit.
Pooling their savings, Sharma and Pathak traveled to San Francisco, capitalizing on networking opportunities at key tech events. Their determination culminated in a fortuitous meeting with Altman. Sharma, eager to glean knowledge from the tech magnate, offered to serve as Altman’s secretary. This initial meeting paved the way for subsequent discussions about potential investments in Induced AI.
Induced AI: The Future of Browser Automation?
Induced AI presents a unique browser that seamlessly integrates with an AI agent to perform autonomous tasks. Operating entirely on a cloud-based platform, it promises not to strain device capabilities. Its primary selling point is the AI’s ability to mimic human reasoning, facilitating interaction with online services with minimal human input, save for authentication.
Sharma explained, “Our innovation enables users to establish virtual AI assistants. These AI-driven entities can execute tasks on a cloud-based browser, mirroring human-like cognitive functions.”
In essence, businesses can now articulate their workflow directives in straightforward English, and Induced AI will convert these into structured pseudo-code, a boon for streamlining mundane back-office activities.
Stellar Support for Induced AI
This exciting venture from the young Indian tech duo hasn’t just attracted Altman’s attention. The start-up’s promising potential has also lured notable figures in the AI domain, including Peak XV, Daniel Gross, and an AI grant steered by Nat Friedman. With such a distinguished roster of backers, Induced AI is certainly a name to watch in the tech arena.
