The documents affirm Ola Electric’s aspiration to amass $300 million, with a significant $143 million already tucked away.

According to the regulatory data filed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ola Electric has floated 239.8 crore Series E preference shares, each with a face value of Rs 10, aiming to accumulate 2,398 crore or an equivalent of $300 million.
Temasek, through its two investment conduits V-Sciences and MacRitchie, has infused a hefty Rs 1,518 crore or $190 million into this funding pot. Furthermore, Blue Investments and DIG Investments have committed Rs 333 crore and Rs 290 crore respectively to Ola Electric’s vision.
The investment round also witnessed participation from Tiger Global, Tekne Private Ventures, and Ashutosh Vinayak Joshi, contributing Rs 165 crore, Rs 41.3 crore, and Rs 50 crore respectively.
