The cutting-edge fixed income investment platform, Tap Invest, formerly recognized as Leaf Round, is celebrating a recent triumph in the investment arena. They’ve successfully bagged $2 million in their latest seed funding endeavor. Spearheading this round was the prominent Turbostart, accompanied by the influential Snow Leopard Ventures. Angel stalwarts Kunal Shah and Kashyap Shah were among the key contributors.
Reaffirming their faith in Tap Invest’s potential, past supporters Upsparks and Superb Capital returned to champion the platform in this funding round.
Nishchay Nath, Soumya Kushwaha, and Himashu Chowdhary, the visionary trio at the helm of Tap Invest, launched this fintech startup with an alternative investment concept: asset renting. Since its debut in April 2022, the platform has been a magnet for enthusiastic early adopters.
Boasting a burgeoning community, the firm reveals that its platform now caters to over 12,500 active investors. The majority are delving into the fixed income sector, with a pronounced interest in asset leasing and invoice discounting.
Reflecting on Tap Invest’s journey, it’s worth noting their prior financial milestones. A year ago, during the pre-seed phase, they raised an impressive $300K. This preliminary round saw participation from micro VC firm Upsparks, Superb Capital, and a league of elite business leaders from corporate giants like McKinsey, Bain, Barclays, and Adobe.
With this fresh infusion of capital, Tap Invest is primed to enhance its suite of offerings and fortify its stronghold in the dynamic fintech domain.
